HOW TO ADD BNB TO METAMASK WALLET APP

Its more or less depends on the country where you stay and what other Crypto exchange wallets you have been using. We will see few ways to do so.

  1.  Transfer BNB from Trust Wallet to MetaMask
  • Launch your Trust Wallet, There is more than one version of BNB, so we need to understand that, the BNB version is known as BEP2, Smart Chain version is known as BEP20 which can be used with various DeFi platforms. We have to transfer Smart Chain BNB(BEP20) to MetaMask. If you already have BNB(BEP2) in Trust Wallet you need to convert them to smart chain(BEP20).
  •  If you don’t have Smart Chain BNB in Trust Wallet, you can simply buy them directly or you can Transfer BNB(BEP2) or Smart chain(BEP20) from other Crypto exchange apps depending on the country you live in..  like Binance, Coinbase, Gemini, Wirex, Crypto.com, Coinmama, Coinsmart, Wazirx, CoinSwitch, and so on. Let’s see how to Swap BNB to Smart Chain first.

3.1.1. HOW TO SWAP BNB TO SMART CHAIN IN TRUST WALLET #

Step 1: Click on BNB, then click on More. Click on Swap to Smart Chain.

Step 2: Add Total BNB which you want to swap in Smart Chain. Click on Swap

Step 3: A confirmation window will appear, click on Confirm. If you want to see the details of your transaction then you can Click on More Details or close the popup. You can check the BNB is now swapped to Smart Chain.

3.1.2. HOW TO TRANSFER SMART CHAIN(BEP20) FROM TRUST WALLET TO METAMASK #

Step 1: Launch MetaMask. Click on BNB. Click on Receive and Copy the address or Scan the code if you have another device.

Step 2: Launch Trust wallet, Click on Smart Chain, Click on Send, Paste the address which you copied from MetaMask or Scan the QR Code, Click on Next.

Step 3: Click on Confirm. The Smart Chain BNB will be Transfert to your MetaMask Wallet.
